Home Ride at the University of Virginia
Providing a safe, convenient, economical way to get home.
|
Safe
Our safe, comfortable charter buses offer convenient service
between the Student Activities Building on the UVA campus and
Northern Virginia, Richmond and Hampton.
Our professional drivers let you sleep, study, or
just relax without worrying about who is at the wheel.
Convenient
Home Ride is a bus service designed for college students, so our
schedule fits your needs. Generally, we leave Charlottesville on Friday
afternoons and return Sunday nights. We also make special runs for
Fall break, Thanksgiving, Christmas, and Spring break to fit the
university calendar.
All trips start from and return to the Student Activities Building near
Scott Stadium at the University of Virginia.
Our stop in Northern Virginia is at Fair Oaks Mall in Fairfax county.
In Richmond, we stop at the James Cabell Library at VCU;
in Hampton, near the Outback Steakhouse at Peninsula Town Center Mall.
Going north, we leave UVA at 3:00 PM on Fridays and arrive in Fairfax
at 5:00 PM. We also have buses leaving at 5:00 PM and reaching Fairfax
at 7:00 PM on some of the busier departure dates, such as Fall break,
Thanksgiving, and Spring break. The return trip leaves
Fairfax at 5:30 PM Sunday and arrives back at UVA at 7:30 PM.
Going east, we leave UVA at 4:30 PM most Fridays and reach
Richmond at 6:00 PM, and Hampton at 7:30 PM.
The return trip leaves Hampton on Sunday at 4:30 PM and Richmond at 6:00 PM,
and arrives back at UVA at 7:30 PM.

Our fare is just $82 round-trip or $48 one-way to Northern Virginia,
